Operating System Upgrade to the MySQL Database VPS Server

Dear Customers of Koehler Cyber Cafe’s Website Hosting I wanted to take a moment and let you know that we’ll be doing an Operating System Upgrade on the Database Server that retains the WordPress data bases. And, like any operating systems, they receive regular updates to fix bugs, improve stability, and add features. We will be upgrading the MySQL Virtual Private Server this May 10th, 2020 (Sunday)

• Date of upgrade: Sunday May 10th
• Maintenance Window: 8:00pm-10:00pm Pacific Time
• Expected downtime: 10 minutes (intermittent)
• You may notice that your MySQL databases are unreachable for brief periods, or your website may behave unexpectedly while we complete the upgrade. This is normal, and your sites and databases will be back online as soon as the upgrade is complete!
